Abstract

It is a machine designed to work in areas close to towns, avoiding the use of herbicides that can cause harm to animals and people; the type that works associated with a tow tractor to which it is hooked and linked to its hydraulic system; comprising a raised chassis mounted on a rear running gear through a pair of deformable parallelograms, and on a draft lance that is pivotally supported on the tractor, with the insertion of corresponding hydraulic cylinders through which it can be arranged in the positions of work and transport, where said chassis supports a set of individual control bodies (CM), transversely aligned, that work on the surface cover of the ground, producing the control of weeds and weeds. The chassis comprises tubular sections assembled together through bolts, and includes a transverse beam (4) with respect to which the controlling bodies (CM) are mounted, each of which is defined from an individual deformable parallelogram structure ( 18), comprising a front cutting train (19) with adjustable height, made up of a vertical blade (25), and a rear cutting train (20) that is made up of a front roll (32) that determines the working height of a main cutting blade (29) located below, which is fixed in correspondence of the lower end of a vertical rudder, opens the furrow (28), completing the set with a rear pivoting roll (35) that closes the crack produced by the aforementioned initial cutting blade. The shooting lance is linked to the front cross member of the same chassis, through fixing bolts. The chassis rests on a pair of rear wheels with the intercalation of respective deformable parallelogram structures (9) and (10) that, at one end are fixed to the rear cross member (8) thereof, and at the other end are associated with respective forks that pivot on the axles of said wheels. Each control body has an upper front groove (16) that sits on the robust transverse beam (4), which is enclosed by a pair of mounting plates (15) and (17) that rest respectively on its front and front faces. rear, between which corresponding mounting and fixing bolts extend. Each weed control body is formed from a respective deformable parallelogram structure (18) whose sides pivot on pairs of rammed transverse axes. From the deformable parallelogram structure of each controller body extends a pair of front arms (21) which, through their free ends, support the height-adjustable front cutting unit (19), and through a pair of rear arms (22) they support the rear horizontal cutting train (20), also adjustable in height. The front cutting train (19) is mounted on a lowering rod, in an adjustable height position, from where an arm carrying a vertical cutting blade (25) projects, including the presence of a pressure spring (27 ), while the rear horizontal cutting train (20) comprises a main cutting blade (29) in the shape of a "V" mounted at the lower end of the groove-opening rudder (28). The main cutting blade (29) consists of a left wing (30) and a right wing (31) arising from the lower edge of a support integral with the rudder (28). The anterior roll (32) and the posterior roll use transverse round iron ribs (34) that are distributed in a helical fashion.
