Abstract
Un método para manufacturar un cierre para un contenedor de retención de productos construido para ser insertado y retenido de forma segura en un cuello que forma un portal de dicho contenedor, dicho método comprende al menos los siguientes pasos del método: i) combinar íntimamente los siguientes componentes, para formar una composición: (a) 51 a 80% en peso (peso seco) o 51 a 85% en peso de una pluralidad de partículas que comprenden corcho y tienen una distribución de tamaño de partícula D₅₀ medida por medio de tamizado mecánico de acuerdo con ISO ICS 19.120 y en particular ISO 2591-1:1988, dentro del rango de 0,25 milímetros a 5 milímetros; (b) 12 a 49% en peso de un material plástico que comprende uno o varios polímeros termoplásticos; (c) opcionalmente, 0 a 10% en peso de uno o varios agentes de soplado; (d) opcionalmente, 0 a 15% en peso de uno o varios lubricantes; (e) opcionalmente, 0 a 2% en peso de uno o varios pigmentos; y (f) opcionalmente, 0 a 10% en peso de uno o varios aditivos y/o rellenos; ii) calentar la composición obtenida en el paso i) para formar una masa fundida; iii) formar, por medio de extrusión o moldeo, un precursor de cierre a partir de la masa obtenida en el paso ii), donde la pluralidad de partículas que contiene corcho en el precursor de cierre tiene un contenido de agua menor que 3% en peso; iv) opcionalmente cortar y/o terminar el precursor del cierre para formar el cierre.
