Abstract

Un método en un nodo de red incluye obtener un primer identificador asociado con reanudar una conexión inactiva entre un dispositivo inalámbrico y una red. El método además incluye recibir un segundo identificador del dispositivo inalámbrico. El segundo identificador es, ya sea, el mismo que el primer identificador o está asociado con el primer identificador. El método además incluye determinar un indicador de ubicación en base al segundo identificador. El método además incluye obtener la información asociada con la conexión de la ubicación indicada por el indicador de ubicación. El método además incluye utilizar la información asociada con la conexión para facilitar la reanudación de la conexión entre el dispositivo inalámbrico y la red.
