Abstract

Reivindicación 4: La formulación de la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el inhibidor de PPO se selecciona del grupo que consiste en un éter de difenilo, un oxadiazol, una imida cíclica y un pirazol. Reivindicación 6: La partícula de liberación controlada de la reivindicación 4, caracterizada porque el inhibidor de PPO es sulfentrazona. Reivindicación 17: Una formulación de liberación controlada que comprende una población de partículas de liberación controlada que comprende un núcleo del portador sólido y por lo menos un recubrimiento que contiene ingredientes activos para la protección de cultivos y un recubrimiento hidrófobo, caracterizada porque dicho recubrimiento que contiene ingredientes activos comprende un inhibidor de protoporfirinógeno IX oxidasa (PPO). Reivindicación 32: Un método para reducir la fitotoxicidad de los cultivos al tratamiento con sulfentrazona, caracterizado porque comprende: a) proveer sulfentrazona en una formulación de liberación controlada que comprende partículas que comprenden un portador, una capa de recubrimiento que contiene sulfentrazona sobre la superficie de dicho portador y un recubrimiento sobre el mismo hidrófobo; b) aplicar dicha sulfentrazona a la superficie de interés; y c) reducir la adherencia de las partículas a la planta de cultivo. Reivindicación 33: Un método para ajustar la liberación de sulfentrazona desde una formulación granular, caracterizado porque comprende recubrir una formulación granular que contiene sulfentrazona con un aceite hidrófobo y/o con una cera hidrófoba en una cantidad efectiva para proveer el índice de liberación deseado. Reivindicación 36: Un método para preparar una formulación granular de liberación controlada de sulfentrazona, caracterizada porque comprende: a) proveer un portador granular seleccionado del grupo que consiste en cáscara de maní, celulósicos, sílice y arcilla; b) aplicar una solución de sulfentrazona en un solvente apropiado para proveer gránulos recubiertos con sulfentrazona; y c) recubrir dichos gránulos recubiertos con sulfentrazona con un aceite o cera hidrófoba seleccionados del grupo que consiste en aceite de linaza, aceite mineral refinado, cera de carnauba, cera de abejas y mezclas de dos o más de los mismos.Claim 1: A controlled release particle comprising a solid carrier core and at least one coating containing active ingredients for crop protection, characterized in that said coating containing active ingredients comprises a protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase inhibitor (PPO). Claim 7: The controlled release particle of claim 1, characterized in that said carrier core is a clay, a silica, peanut shell, or a cellulosic. Claim 9: The controlled release particle of claim 2, characterized in that said hydrophobic protective coating comprises an oil selected from the group consisting of vegetable oils, synthetic oils and mixtures of two or more thereof. Claim 11: The controlled release particle of claim 2, characterized in that said hydrophobic protective coating comprises a wax selected from the group consisting of mineral waxes, synthetic waxes and mixtures of two or more thereof. Claim 17: A controlled release formulation comprising a population of controlled release particles comprising a solid carrier core and at least one coating containing active ingredients for crop protection and a hydrophobic coating, characterized in that said coating containing Active ingredients comprises a protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase inhibitor (PPO). Claim 32: A method for reducing the phytotoxicity of the cultures to sulfentrazone treatment, characterized in that it comprises: a) providing sulfentrazone in a controlled release formulation comprising particles comprising a carrier, a coating layer containing sulfentrazone on the surface of said carrier and a coating on the same hydrophobe; b) apply said sulfentrazone to the surface of interest; and c) reduce the adhesion of the particles to the crop plant. Claim 33: A method for adjusting the release of sulfentrazone from a granular formulation, characterized in that it comprises coating a granular formulation containing sulfentrazone with a hydrophobic oil and / or with a hydrophobic wax in an amount effective to provide the desired release rate. Claim 36: A method for preparing a sulfentrazone controlled release granular formulation, characterized in that it comprises: a) providing a granular carrier selected from the group consisting of peanut, cellulosic, silica and clay peel; b) applying a solution of sulfentrazone in an appropriate solvent to provide sulfentrazone coated granules; and c) coating said sulfentrazone coated granules with a hydrophobic oil or wax selected from the group consisting of flaxseed oil, refined mineral oil, carnauba wax, beeswax and mixtures of two or more thereof.
