Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Una formulación acuosa para el tratamiento de semillas que comprende: de aproximadamente el 1% a aproximadamente el 70% de un componente activo agrícola en peso; y de aproximadamente el 25% a aproximadamente el 45% de una formulación aglutinante en peso, donde dicha formulación aglutinante comprende: de aproximadamente el 5% a aproximadamente el 50% de un portador de látex en peso; de aproximadamente el 1% a aproximadamente el 40% de una cera en peso; y de aproximadamente el 2% a aproximadamente el 25% de mica en peso; en donde dicho portador de látex comprende un copolímero a base de estireno-acrilato. Reivindicación 7: La formulación de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde dicho copolímero es un copolímero aleatorio que comprende comonómeros de estireno, comonómeros de acrilato de butilo, comonómeros de acrilonitrilo y comonómeros de ácido acrílico. Reivindicación 15: La formulación de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde el componente activo agrícola comprende un ingrediente pesticida. Reivindicación 17: La formulación de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en donde la cera se selecciona del grupo que consiste en cera natural, cera vegetal, cera mineral y cera sintética. Reivindicación 25: Un método para protección de una semilla de plagas que comprende la aplicación a una semilla viable de una cantidad efectiva de una formulación de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1.Claim 1: An aqueous formulation for seed treatment comprising: from about 1% to about 70% of an agricultural active component by weight; and from about 25% to about 45% of a binder formulation by weight, wherein said binder formulation comprises: from about 5% to about 50% of a latex carrier by weight; from about 1% to about 40% of a wax by weight; and from about 2% to about 25% mica by weight; wherein said latex carrier comprises a styrene-acrylate based copolymer. Claim 7: The formulation according to claim 1, wherein said copolymer is a random copolymer comprising styrene comonomers, butyl acrylate comonomers, acrylonitrile comonomers and acrylic acid comonomers. Claim 15: The formulation according to claim 1, wherein the active agricultural component comprises a pesticidal ingredient. Claim 17: The formulation according to claim 1, wherein the wax is selected from the group consisting of natural wax, vegetable wax, mineral wax and synthetic wax. Claim 25: A method for protection of a pest seed comprising the application to a viable seed of an effective amount of a formulation according to claim 1.
