Abstract
Se provee un método para controlar la producción de aerosol en un dispositivo generador de aerosol, dispositivo que comprende un elemento generador de aerosol energizado, un canal de flujo configurado para permitir que un flujo de gas pase por el elemento generador de aerosol, y un sensor de flujo configurado para detectar el flujo de aire en el canal de flujo, que comprende los siguientes pasos: determinar un valor de un primer parámetro relacionado con un cambio en la velocidad de flujo; y reducir un suministro de energía al elemento generador de aerosol según un resultado de una comparación entre el valor del primer parámetro y un valor umbral en donde el primer parámetro deriva de una combinación de un segundo parámetro que es una medida de una velocidad de flujo detectada por el sensor de flujo y un tercer parámetro relacionado con la velocidad de flujo, y en donde el tercer parámetro es la temperatura, la energía suministrada al elemento generador de aerosol, una velocidad máxima de flujo detectado, o una velocidad de cambio de la velocidad de flujo, o deriva de una combinación de dos o más de la temperatura, la energía suministrada al elemento generador de aerosol, una velocidad máxima de flujo detectado, y una velocidad de cambio de la velocidad de flujo. La presente provee un método para controlar la producción de aerosol y, en particular, reducir o suspender la producción de aerosol, en base no simplemente a una velocidad de flujo detectada, sino a otra medida indicativa de la evolución de las características del flujo.
