Abstract

Se refiere a un promotor aislado de maíz. Dicho promotor tiene utilidad particular en el control de la expresion preferida para raíces, específicamente la expresion de la caliptra de raíces, de genes heterologos que imparten mejores características agronomicas, horticulturales y/o pesticidas a una planta transgénica dada. También se refiere a moléculas de ADN que comprenden dicho promotor y tejidos vegetales transformados que contienen moléculas de ADN que comprenden dicho promotor enlazado operablemente a un gen o genes heterologos, y semillas de estos.
