Abstract

Elevador aplicable a cualquiera de los ejes en vehículos de doble traccion o a los ejes libres en vehículos de traccion simple, que comprende una base de apoyo sobre la que se articula una rampa en plano inclinado de ángulo regulable, con medios de fijacion, sobre la cual se encarrila un carro deslizable longitudinalmente sobre rodillos cuya estructura presenta superiormente un tabique solidario transversal, de forma tal que, fijando la inclinacion adecuada de dicha rampa y la altura de su extremo frontal en el que se encuentra inicialmente el carro, se posiciona el elevador con el tabique transversal del mismo por detrás del eje a levantar, luego de lo cual, poniendo en marcha el vehículo en sentido de avance hacia el mismo, el eje empujará a dicho tabique hacia la parte posterior promoviendo el deslizamiento ascendente del carro por la rampa hasta alcanzar la posicion en que la rueda se eleve del suelo, quedando dicha posicion, inamovible mediante el frenado del vehículo desde su freno de mano o por el cambio en velocidad con el motor apagado, dispuesta para efectuar el cambio de rueda y una vez realizada la maniobra, liberando el freno o el cambio, el vehículo con el eje sobre el carro descenderá por la rampa permitiendo el retiro del elevador.Elevator applicable to any of the axles in double traction vehicles or to free axles in single traction vehicles, comprising a support base on which a ramp in an inclined plane of adjustable angle is articulated, with fixing means, on which a longitudinally sliding carriage is rolled on rollers whose structure has a transverse integral partition, in such a way that, by fixing the appropriate inclination of said ramp and the height of its front end where the car is initially located, the elevator is positioned with the transverse partition thereof behind the axle to be lifted, after which, by starting the vehicle in the forward direction towards it, the axle will push said partition towards the rear, promoting the upward sliding of the car along the ramp until reach the position in which the wheel rises from the ground, leaving said position, immovable by braking the vehicle from its handbrake or the change in speed with the engine off, ready to make the wheel change and once the maneuver is performed, releasing the brake or the change, the vehicle with the axle on the car will descend the ramp allowing the elevator removal.
