Abstract

Un método implementado en una unidad inalámbrica de transmision/recepcion (WTRU) para seleccionar una combinacion de formato de transporte (TFC), estando la WTRU configurada para procesar más de un canal para transmision de enlace ascendente, el método comprende: estimar una potencia de transmision para cada una de una pluralidad de TFCs; y seleccionar una TFC para un canal dedicado ascendente y una TFC para un canal ascendente mejorado (EU), en donde la TFC para el canal dedicado se selecciona primero, y en donde la TFC para el canal dedicado se selecciona en base a una potencia de transmision máxima permitida de la WTRU, y en donde la TFC para el canal EU se selecciona dentro de la potencia de transmision de WTRU restante después de la seleccion de la TFC para el canal dedicado. Una unidad inalámbrica de transmision/recepcion (WTRU) para seleccionar combinaciones de formato de transporte (TFCs) para una pluralidad de canales ascendentes, la WTRU comprende: un medio de estimacion de la potencia de transmision para estimar una potencia de transmision para cada una de una pluralidad de TFCs disponibles; y un medio de seleccion de TFC para seleccionar una TFC para un canal dedicado ascendente y una TFC para un canal ascendente mejorado (EU), en donde la TFC para el canal dedicado se selecciona primero, y en donde la TFC para el canal dedicado se selecciona en base a una potencia de transmision máxima permitida de la WTRU, y en donde la TFC para el canal EU se selecciona dentro de la potencia de transmision de WTRU restante después de la seleccion de la TFC para el canal dedicado.
