Abstract

Composiciones antioxidantes quelantes o secuestrantes de metales derivadas de hierbas comestibles, especias, frutas, verduras y/o granos, que son utiles para incorporarlas en alimentos, bebidas, suplementos nutricionales y cosméticos, con el fin de mejorar la estabilidad de dichos alimentos, bebidas o cosméticos. Procesos para preparar estas composiciones antioxidantes que mejoran la estabilidad. Reivindicacion 1: Una composicion caracterizada porque es un extracto de una planta y porque deriva de un material de hierbas comestibles, especias, frutas y/o verduras que ha sido sometido a una extraccion previa y del cual se ha eliminado la mayor parte de los constituyentes solubles en aceite, donde la composicion es un extracto de una planta que presenta actividad de quelante de metales.
