Abstract

Los procesos de la presente se pueden utilizar, por ejemplo, para producir monomero de estireno mediante la deshidrogenacion de etilbenceno utilizando dioxido de carbono y oxigeno como oxidantes. Reivindicacion 1: Un proceso para la deshidrogenacion oxidativa de una carga de alimentacion de hidrocarburos, caracterizado porque comprende los pasos de: (a) introducir una carga de alimentacion de hidrocarburos en un sistema de reactores de deshidrogenacion oxidativa capaz do deshidrogenar hidrocarburos, en el cual el reactor de deshidrogenacion contiene por lo menos un catalizador capaz de oxidar selectivamente la carga de alimentacion de hidrocarburos para producir un producto de hidrocarburos deshidrogenados; (b) introducir dioxido de carbono en el sistema de reactores de deshidrogenacion oxidativa, donde la relacion molar de alimentacion de dioxido do carbono a la carga de alimentacion total de hidrocarburos (alimentacion nueva más reciclado) es de 0,1 a 10; (c) introducir oxígeno en el sistema de reactores de deshidrogenacion oxidativa, donde la relacion molar de alimentacion de oxígeno a la carga de alimentacion total de hidrocarburos (alimentacion nueva más reciclado) es de 0,01 a 1,0; (d) deshidrogenar catalíticamente la carga de alimentacion de hidrocarburos para producir una corriente de productos de deshidrogenacion que comprende el producto de hidrocarburos deshidrogenados, la carga de alimentacion de hidrocarburos sin reaccionar, los subproductos y el gas residual; y (e) recuperar el producto de hidrocarburos deshidrogenados, la carga de alimentacion sin reaccionar, los subproductos y el gas residual.
