Abstract
La presente se refiere a un método de inertizacion para reducir el riesgo de generacion de fuego en un espacio cerrado (10) así como también un dispositivo para llevar a cabo el método. Con el objeto de especificar una disposicion de inertizacion para un espacio cerrado (10) el cual por una parte consigue una reduccion efectiva del riesgo de fuego incipiente por medio de una continua inertizacion del espacio cerrado (10) y el cual, por otra parte, puede limitar la proteccion preventiva contra incendios efectuada por medio de esta inertizacion continua a zonas espacialmente separadas del espacio cerrado de manera necesaria sin necesidad de separaciones estructurales para lograrlo, proveyéndose de acuerdo con la presente la introduccion en el interior del espacio cerrado (10) de por lo menos un gas inerte que tiene una densidad de gas (?Gas) que difiere de la densidad de gas media (?Gas) de la atmosfera ambiental del espacio (10) de manera tal que una estratificacion gaseosa conformada de una primera capa de gas (A) y una segunda capa de gas (B) se forma en el espacio cerrado (10), en donde el contenido de oxigeno en la primera capa de gas (A) se corresponde substancialmente con el contenido de oxígeno de la atmosfera ambiental, y en donde el contenido de oxígeno en la segunda capa de gas (B) se corresponde con un contenido de oxígeno específico y definible el cual es menor que el contenido de oxígeno de la atmosfera ambiental.
