Abstract
Se presentan procesos para desalar soluciones ricas en glicerol o corrientes de proceso utilizando electrodiálisis. Las corrientes de proceso ricas en glicerol son típicamente subproductos de la produccion de biodiesel. Después de la electrodiálisis se coloca la solucion salina acuosa obtenida en una celda de division de agua para recuperar los componentes ácido y base de la sal. Estos componentes, ácido y base, a su vez, pueden ser reutilizados en otros procesos, como por ejemplo en la produccion de biodiesel.
