Abstract
Se describe un método y un sistema para implementar técnicas de multiples entradas multiples salidas (MIMO por sus siglas en inglés) virtuales de multi-usuarios para unidades inalámbricas de transmision/recepcion (WTRUs por sus siglas en inglés) que tienen una o más antenas. El sistema incluye una estacion de base y por lo menos una WTRU que tiene por lo menos dos antenas. El numero de antenas de la estacion de base no es menor que el numero de antenas de cualquiera de las WTRUs. La estacion de base genera una matriz de canales para las WTRUs y procesa las senales recibidas desde las WTRUs en base a una medicion de la matriz de canales. Las WTRUs pueden realizar pre-codificacion de transmision o formacion de haces propios usando la informacion de la matriz de canales. Las WTRUs también pueden realizar diversidad de transmision.
