La estructura articulada para proteccion y refuerzo de suelos, esta formada por bloques o cuerpos resistentes, de volumenes poliédricos tronco-conicos y/o cilíndricos, vinculados entre sí, en dos direcciones (ortogonales u oblicuas) de un mismo plano, por medio de resistentes cables, cuerdas y/o alambres conectivos, u otros tipos de elementos conectivos disenados para unir, a modo de articulacion, los bloques o cuerpos resistentes de la estructura flexible.
