Abstract

Un vástago tapon para controlar el flujo de acero fundido desde una artesa que posee un elemento portador de metal (15a; 15b; 15c) parcialmente recibido en un conducto interno (12b; 12c) del mismo, el elemento portador comprende un medio de obturacion (19a; 19b; 19c) entre una superficie inferior troncoconica de una porcion lateralmente alargada del mismo y una superficie de apoyo complementaria del conducto del vástago tapon, proporcionándose un inserto (20; 24; 27c) acoplado a rosca al elemento portador o al cuerpo del vástago tapon en una porcion lateralmente alargada del elemento portador, disponiéndose un medio de obturacion adicional (21; 25; 25a; 25b) entre dicho inserto y el elemento portador. Preferentemente, el inserto es una tuerca (27c) que se aprieta sobre una arandela (26c) la cual comprime el medio de obturacion adicional (25a, 25b).
