Abstract

Comprende un cuerpo tubular (1) compuesto por una sucesion de tramos (2) de elementos esqueléticos. En una o en ambas hileras extremas (5) del cuerpo tubular (1) hay medios para el acodamiento expansivo que comprenden debilitamientos seccionales (5b) y extremidades abiertas (5c). En el caso de la hilera extrema (5), mediante un balon expansor apropiado, se puede producir el acodamiento expansivo de los ramales longitudinales (5a) de dicha hilera extrema (5). El acodamiento se produce a partir de los debilitamientos seccionales (5b). Las extremidades abiertas (5c) permiten que la expansion se produzca a modo de florecimiento de un capullo de flor. En estas condiciones, el acodamiento de la hilera extrema (5) posibilitan la adecuada cobertura de la lesion (22) ostial o de bifurcacion que afecta a la pared (21) del conducto vascular de aplicacion (20).
