Abstract

La presente se relaciona con un revestimiento electrocatalítico y con un electrodo que tiene el revestimiento aplicado en el mismo, donde el revestimiento es un revestimiento de oxidos de metales mixtos, preferentemente oxidos de metal del grupo platino con o sin oxidos de metal válvula, y contiene un componente metal de transicion tal como paladio, rodio o cobalto. El revestimiento electrocatalítico se puede utilizar, especialmente, como componente de ánodo de una celda de electrolisis para la electrolisis de una solucion con contenido de halogeno, donde el componente de paladio reduce el potencial operativo del ánodo y elimina la necesidad de un período de ôablandeö para obtener el potencial anodico más bajo.
