Abstract

A recombinant virus is provided from the canarypox virus (CNPV), capable of acting in vivo as an expression vector of foreign genes inserted in non-essential genomic regions for viral replication, with greater genetic stability, where said genomic reguins correspond to at least a gene selected from CNPV018 (SEQ ID No. 1), CNPV048 (SEQ ID No. 2) and CNPV134 (SEQ ID No. 3), from the canarypox virus genome. A plasmid transfer vector, susceptible to hoologo recombination with a canarypox virus, is provided. In addition, vaccines and immunization methods are provided.
