Abstract

Un método de siembra de un germinante o embrión de planta somático de una especie de confiera, a fin de facilitar el posterior desarrollo del embrión o germinante hasta una plántula autotrófica. El método comprende las siguientes etapas, llevadas a cabo ex vitro, en condiciones no estériles: proveer un medio nutriente que comprende películas de una componente sólido, presente dentro de un componente fluible o semisólido, que contiene agua y un nutriente carbohidrato para el embrión o germinante; suministrar una cantidad del medio nutriente a la superficie de un sustrato de crecimiento sólido poroso para el germinante o embrión de planta somático, y poner en contacto el germinante o embrión de planta, con el medio nutriente. El medio tiene una fluidez de manera tal de que por lo menos algo del componente fluible o semisólido que contiene el nutriente carbohidrato permanece en contacto con el germinante o embrión, por lo menos hasta que el germinante o embrión establece crecimiento vigoroso, en condiciones ambientales eficaces para dicho crecimiento. Las partículas del componente sólido se adaptan para permanecer en contacto con el embrión o germinante después de que el material fluible o semisólido se disipa, proporcionando de ese modo continuo soporte físico para el embrión o germinante, después de la disipación. Además se refiere a las plántulas producidas de esta manera, y a la solución nutriente.
