Abstract

Un método para reducir o prevenir la ocurrencia de infecciones respiratorias y otros trastornos asociados con la concentración de mamíferos no humanos tales como e ganado vacuno, recibiendo los trastornos la designación general de "fiebre del trasnporte". Los métodos pueden comprender la administración de xilitol, posiblemente en forma de una solución basada en agua o en forma de una solución salina, a los mamíferos no humanos en una forma de niebla.
