Abstract

Un análogo de nucleósido pirrolo[2,3-d]pirimidina de la fórmula (1), en donde: A es O, S, ó CH2; X es H, NH2 u OH; Y es H, halógeno o NH2; Z se selecciona del grupo que consiste en H, halógeno, R, OH, OR, SH, SR, NH2, NHR, NR2, CN, C(O)NH2, COOH, COOR, CH2NH2, C(=NOH)NH2, y C(=NH)NH2 en donde R es alquilo, alquenilo, alquinilo, o aralquilo; R2 y R3 se seleccionan independientemente del grupo que consiste de H, F, y OH; R4 se selecciona del grupo que consiste de un hidrógeno, un alquilo, un alquenilo, un alquinilo, y un aralquilo, en donde R4 opcionalmente posee por lo menos uno de un heteroátomo y un grupo funcional; R5 es H, OH, OP(O)(OH)2, P(O)(OH)2, OP(O)(OR')2, o P(O)(OR')2, en donde R' es un grupo de enmascaramiento; y R5 se selecciona del grupo que consiste de un alquilo, un alquenilo, un alquinilo, y un aralquilo, en donde R5 por lo menos tiene dos átomos de carbono, y opcionalmente tiene por lo menos uno de un heteroátomo y un grupo funcional. Uso del análogo de nucleósido para preparar una composición farmacéutica de utilidad para modificar la secreción de una citocina de una célula. Use of the nucleoside analog to prepare a pharmaceutical composition useful for modifying the secretion of a cytokine from a cell. The nucleoside analog has an anti-cancer and immunomodulation effect with reduced cytotoxicity.
