Abstract

Proceso para fabricar un núcleo absorbente que no involucra pérdida de material durante la fabricación del mismo. Comprende las etapas de proveer una lámina continua de material absorbente teniendo una longitud longitudinal, un primer borde lateral y un borde lateral opuesto definiendo entre ellos un ancho transversal; alimentar la lámina continua de material absorbente a un medio de corte en la dirección de la longitud longitudinal; cortar la lámina continua de material absorbente en un patrón alternado incluyendo una primera línea de corte y una segunda línea de corte, cada línea de corte que se extiende desde el primer borde lateral al segundo borde lateral opuesto para cortar sustancialmente transversalmente la lámina continua de material absorbente, definiendo por ese medio una pluralidad de piezas absorbentes consecutivas, teniendo cada pieza absorbente consecutiva una longitud igual al ancho transversal de la lámina continua de material absorbente, en donde una porción de la primera línea de corte adyacente al primer borde lateral está longitudinalmente desplazada de por lo menos una porción de la primera línea de corte adyacente al segundo borde lateral opuesto y una porción de la segunda línea de corte adyacente al segundo borde lateral está longitudinalmente desplazadas de por lo menos una porción de la segunda línea de corte adyacente al primer borde lateral opuesto, y en donde cada respectivo desplazamiento está en la dirección de la longitud longitudinal; yuxtaponer por lo menos dos piezas absorbentes consecutivas obtenidas a través del corte de la lámina continua de material absorbente. El núcleo absorbente tiene un formato anatómico que permite un uso cómodo con alto poder de absorción, que se puede usar en varios productos absorbentes descartables para incontinencia urinaria, panales descartables o toallas sanitarias.
