Abstract
Un proceso para producir ácidos carboxílicos o sus ésteres por oxidacion catalítica en fase líquida de un precursor correspondiente en un solvente apropiado, el cual comprende alimentar los reactivos a una primer zona de reaccion de oxidacion a alta presion y alta relacion de solvente, en el cual el consumo de oxígeno en la reaccion se limita a un valor menor de 50% del oxígeno requerido para la conversion total del precursor a su correspondiente ácido carboxílico o su éster; y luego alimentar el medio de reaccion a una segunda zona de reaccion de oxidacion.A process for producing carboxylic acids or their esters by catalytic oxidation in liquid phase of a corresponding precursor in an appropriate solvent, which comprises feeding the reagents to a first high pressure oxidation reaction zone and high solvent ratio, in which the oxygen consumption in the reaction is limited to a value less than 50% of the oxygen required for the total conversion of the precursor to its corresponding carboxylic acid or its ester; and then feed the reaction medium to a second oxidation reaction zone.
