La presente se relaciona, entre otros, con secuencias de Glutationa S transferasa (GST) y de Homoglutationa sintetasa de soja, y con su uso en métodos parala produccion de plantas que son resistentes a herbicidas que comprenden fomesafen y/oacifluor fen. En una realizacion preferible, la presente provee una GSTilustrada en SEQ ID N* 10 y homoglutationa sintetasa ilustrada en SEQ ID N* 1.
