También se describen los métodos para la modulacion del contenido,estructura y metabolismo de los polipéptidos involucrados enuna vía biosintética de isoprenoide en los organismos objetivo, los métodos que comprenden incorporar uno o más polinucleotidos o construcciones genéticas dela presente invencion dentro delgenoma de un organismo objetivo. La modulacion del contenido, estructura y metabolismo de estos polipéptidos producemodificaciones en el contenido, estructura y metabolismo de los isoprenoides en el organismo objetivo.New isolated polynucleotides associated with the biosynthetic pathways of plant isoprenoid are provided, together with the genetic constructs that comprise these sequences. The methods for modulating the content, structure and metabolism of the polypeptides involved in an isoprenoid biosynthetic pathway in the target organisms are also described, the methods comprising incorporating one or more polynucleotides or genetic constructs of the present invention within the genome of a target organism. Modulation of the content, structure and metabolism of these polypeptides produces changes in the content, structure and metabolism of isoprenoids in the target organism.
