Un polímero ionomero espumado que comprende iones metálicos pertenecientes al Grupo IA, IIA o IIB de la Tabla Periodica, y un copolímero injertadocristalino o semicristalino donde la cadena polímera principal del copolímero injertado es un polímero de una olefina seleccionada entre etileno y alfa-olefinas C3-10, y las cadenas injertadas comprenden monomeros que contienen al menos un grupo funcional seleccionado entre grupos carboxílicos y sus derivados.
