Abstract
Se revela un sistema y método para acceder a una cantidad de líneas de comunicacion por medios de uno o mas dispositivos de ensayo. Cada una de laslíneas de comunicacion está acoplada a través del sistema e incluye una primer terminacion en un primer sitio de terminacion de telecomunicaciones y unasegunda terminacion en un segundo sitio de terminacion de telecomunicacines. El sistema incluye una cantidad de dispositivos de acceso de línea, cada uno delos cuales está acoplado a por lo menosuna de las líneas de comunicacion que terminan en el primer sitio de terminacion de telecomunicaciones y terminando porlo menos una de las líneas de comunicacion en el segundo sitio de terminacion de telecomunicaciones. Uno o mas buses de monitoreo son definidos por unacantidad de relevadores, uno o más de los cuales está acoplado a uno de los dispositivos de acceso de línea. Una interfaz del dispositivo de ensayo, que estáacoplada selectivamente al bus, proporciona una conectividad bi-direccional entre la línea de comunicacion seleccionada y un dispositivo de ensayoseleccionado acoplado a la misma. Uno o más de los relevadores activados acopla una seleccionada de las líneas de comunicacion a uno seleccionado de losdispositivos de ensayo por medio de la interfaz de los dispositivos de ensayo. Una o mas de las trayectorias de senales definidas como pasantes a través de losrelevadores, la interfaz del dispositivo de ensayo y una porcion de los dispositivos de acceso de línea define conexiones de punto a punto no derivadas. Elsistema y método de acceso para ensayo del presente invento sirve para diversos protocolos de líneas de transmision digitales de alta velocidad. Las líneastransmision digital acopladas por medio del sistema pueden comprenden líneas de transmision digital de alta velocidad caracterizadas por velocidades detransmision del orden de decenas o cientos de megabits por segundo (Mbps).
