Abstract

Formulaciones agroquímicas de liberacion lenta para prevenir la lixiviacion y la contaminacion del suelo y del agua subterránea. Los productos agroquímicosson compuestos orgánicos con estructuras moleculares no ionicas y no polares, que se adsobrena arcillas cuyas superficies has sido transformadas dehidrofílicas a organofílicas, por adsorcion previa de un cation orgánico, habitualmente con estructura de amonio cuaternario, que posee por lo menos ungrupo bencilo unido al átomo de nitrogeno del amonio. Las interacciones intermoleculares sobre la superficie de la arcilla dan como resultado unareduccion de la solubilidad en agua de dicho producto agroquímico, impidiendo así la lixiviacion del mismo en el campo.
