Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una película pre-estirada, y a un aparato y un método para aplicar un envasado externo a paquetes y a cargas,perfeccionado como una función de la estructura y en particular el perfil del paquete o la carga,en particular una carga paletizada, y también como unafunción del transporte y manejo que el paquete o la carga deben estar en capacidad de soportar sin que el envasado externo se disloque. De acuerdo conla invención, una película estirable es estirada sobre por lo menos un rodillo de un diámetro que varía a lo largo de su línea central de rotación de modo deformar unas zonas longitudinales paralelas en la película que tienen diferentes grados de estiramiento. Estas zonas hacen que seaposible, en particular,seguir los contornos externos de objetos a ser envasados y/o proporcionar una adhesión reforzada localmente o, por el contrario, presentar una superficie queesté más relajada. La presente invención se aplica en particular alenvasado y agrupamiento de cargas que pueden ser opcionalmente paletizadas. Laaplicación principal de la presente invención es en el agrupamiento de botellas de bebida.
