La presente invención tiene por finalidad proveer un procedimiento para manufacturar tubos de acero sin costura que tienen características superioresa los productos convencionales mediante el uso de un proceso simple y una disposiciónsimpl e a costos reducidos; el procedimiento de manufacturación dela presente invención se caracteriza por comprender las etapas operativas 1) a 8), las cuales están dispuestas en forma secuencial, y las etapas odispositivos para la producción detochos a productos terminados, están conectadas en la misma línea contínua de manufacturación: 1)producir un tochoredondo mediante colada contínua; 2) enfríar el tocho a una temperatura no mayor que la temperatura de transformaciónA(r1); 3) cal entar el tocho a unatemperatura que permita el punzonado del tocho; 4) punzonar el tocho para obtener una camisa o cuerpo hueco a un régimen de deformación no mayor que200/seg; 5) conformar un tubo de acero mediante elestiramiento y laminado a las dimensiones finales de la camisa o cuerpo hueco usando una laminadora deestiramiento contínua y una laminadora de terminación que están conectadas directamente una a otra, a un régimen promedio de deformación, unarelaciónpredeterminad a de reducción y una temperatura predeterminada de terminación; 6) recristalizar el tubo de acero a una temperatura no menor que la temperatura detransformación A(r3); 7) templar el tubo de acero desde una temperatura no menorque la temperatura de transformación A(r3); y 8) revenir el tubo deacero.
