Abstract
El presente invento se relaciona a un método y un aparato de características singulares para cortar un elemento intermedio de fabricación,siendo el artículo intermedio de fabricación un laminado de material elastomérico reforzado con cordones. De manera más específica, el invento serefiere a métodos y aparatos para cortar un laminado de material elastomérico reforzado con cordones, y, una vez cortado a medida, el laminado se convierteen un casco o esqueleto para una cubierta de neumático. El aparato propuesto por el presente invento puede cortar una capa reforzada con cordones, conángulos que permiten obtener grandes superficies de empalme substancialmente planas sin ningún grado considerable de deformacióno curado previo delmaterial elastomérico no vulcanizado. Las superficies cortadas pueden extenderse formando ángulo de un valor de más de 60s respecto a un plano normalperpendicular a la capa y preferiblemente paralelo a los cordones, siendo los ángulos que preferiblemente tienen un valor de aproximadamente 80s. Taloperación de corte puede ser efectuada de manera exacta y rápida. Los medios de corte permiten obtener mejoras en dichas superficies de empalme.
