前後の針床を用いて爪先部(2)を編成する工程1と、
爪先部(2)の一部の編目を係止する一方の針床の編目列に続けて新たな編目列を編成するとともに、該新たな編目列を編幅方向の一方に移動させ、かつ当該移動により空針となった編針と、移動させた新たな編目列の移動方向端部に対向する空針とに、ソール部(4)の左辺(12)および右辺 (13)となる掛け目(8)を形成することを繰り返してソール部(4)を編成する工程2と、
ソール部(4)を構成する一部の編目を対向する針床へ目移しする工程3と、
ソール部(4)の外周縁を構成する編目に対し、ウェール方向に向けて筒状またはC字状に新たな編目列の編成を繰り返すことでカバー部(3)を編成する工程4とを備えることを特徴とするフットウェア(10)の編成方法。 - 前記工程4でのカバー部(3)の編成は、前後針床に係止するそれぞれの編目列の端部の編目に対して減らし編成を行い、爪先部(2)から足挿入口(5)に至るカバー部(3)の傾斜(9)を設けることを特徴とする請求項1記載のフットウェア(10)の編成方法。
- 前記工程2でのソール部(4)の終端近傍の編成では、新たな編目列を編成する際にソール部(4)の左辺(12)および右辺 (13)の端部の編目を目減らしすることを繰り返しながら行うことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のフットウェア(10)の編成方法。
- 前記アッパー部(1)の編成は、非熱融着糸と熱融着糸とを含んだ編糸で編成するとともに、少なくともカバー部(3)の一部は非熱融着糸のみを用いて編成することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のフットウェア(10)の編成方法。
