- 燃料給油口構造であって、
車両の車体に支持され、前記車体の内方に設けられたフューエルアダプタと、
前記フューエルアダプタが支持される前記車体に形成された開口部を開閉自在に閉鎖するフューエルリッドと、
前記フューエルリッドの内面に設けられたプロテクトカバーと、を具備しており、
前記プロテクトカバーは、給油口を構成するマウスピースの挿入口部から離間しながら囲んでいることを特徴とする燃料給油口構造。 - 前記プロテクトカバーは、前記フューエルリッドとは別体で、樹脂を用いて成形されている、請求項1に記載の燃料給油口構造。
- 前記給油口は、前記車両に対して斜め上方へ向いており、
前記プロテクトカバーは、前記給油口の上まで延びている庇部を有しており、
前記庇部の縁部は、前記プロテクトカバーの半径方向の外方へ向けて折り曲げられて延びたフランジ部を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の燃料給油口構造。 - 前記フランジ部は、前記プロテクトカバーの縁部全周に形成されている、請求項3に記載の燃料給油口構造。
- 前記プロテクトカバーは、前記フューエルリッドに固定されたカバー固定部に設けられ、前記プロテクトカバーに形成されて前記カバー固定部に係合する切り起こし爪部が、前記給油口より下方に形成されている、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料給油口構造。
- 前記フューエルアダプタは、前記給油口の下方に設けられたドレイン孔部を有し、
前記プロテクトカバーは、前記ドレイン孔部よりも上方に配置されている、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の燃料給油口構造。 - 前記給油口は、前記給油口の半径方向の内方へ延びた蓋リング部と、前記蓋リング部に連続して前記プロテクトカバーへ向けて突出し近接した段差部とを有し、前記段差部に給油するときの挿入口部が形成されている、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の燃料給油口構造。
