Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Windkraftanlage (10) mit einem um eine vertikale Achse (11) drehbaren Rotor (12), welcher zwischen zwei horizontalen, mit Abstand übereinander liegenden Lagerebenen (14) eine Mehrzahl von auf einem Umfangskreis (27) verteilt angeordneten, jeweils um eine vertikale Schwenkachse (18) schwenkbaren Rotorblättern (15) umfasst, deren Schwenkbereich beidseitig durch einen Anschlag (19) begrenzt ist. Bei einer solchen Windkraftanlage wird eine Verbesserung der Energieausbeute bei gleichzeitig ruhigerem Lauf dadurch ermöglicht, dass die Breite der Rotorblätter (15) kleiner als ungefähr 1/3 des Radius (R) des Umfangskreises (27) ist.
