Abstract

The invention relates to a device (2) for protecting the back of the leg, intended for use by sportspersons, such as footballers. The invention comprises at least one reinforced element (20, 21) reversibly or non-reversibly associated with the longitudinal edge (12, 13) of a tibia protector (2) by means of connecting means (16) that enable the element (20, 21) to be hinged to the tibia protector (1), such that the element (20, 21) can be closed around the lower part of the back of the leg and cover same.
