Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung von Alkylmercaptanen durch Umsetzung einer Eduktmischung, die Dialkylsulfide und/oder Dialkylpolysulfide enthält, mit einem mindestens molaren Überschuss an Schwefelwasserstoff bei erhöhter Temperatur in der Gasphase und in Gegenwart eines Trägerkatalysators, die mindestens 1 Gew.-% Alkalimetalloxid enthält, in einem Reaktor, der mindestens zwei separate Katalysatorzonen enthält.
