FRANCIS W. SHILLITTO, OF WEST HAVEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE AMERICAN BUCKLE AND CARTRIDGE COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A SUSPENDER-RING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,860, dated September 20, 1892.
Application filed August 22, 1892. Serial No. 443,801. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANCIS WV.SH1LL1TT0, of West Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Suspender-Rings; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a face view of a Suspender-ring.
This invention relates to a design for suspender-rings; and the design consists in the configuration shown in the accompanying illustration.
The upper end A and the banded lower end A of the ring are straight and parallel with each other. The sides of the ring correspond to each other, and each is composed of an inwardly-curved upper portion B, diverging from the vertical center of the ring, and a shorter lower portion 13, forming an acute angle, or an angle less than a right angle, with the lower end of the upper portion B, converging toward the said center of the ring and forming an obtuse angle with the straight lower end thereof, the upper end of the in- Wardly-curved upper portion of the ring form- In testimony whereof I have signed this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
