The filter-fan unit consists of two modules (1,2) of which one has at least one fan (11). The two modules are flow-connected by at least one connecting duct (22) which as an installation component can be connected to at least one opening (23,24) of the modules. In its neutral position the connecting duct lies inside one of the modules and can be extended from one module into another.
