Abstract
The invention relates to separators designed to purify gas, for example, from liquid droplets suspended in it, and makes it possible to increase the cleaning efficiency by eliminating secondary entrainment. The separator comprises a housing 1, separating elements installed therein from equal equal angles 2 of a single assortment with an opening angle of 90 °, arranged in transverse and longitudinal mutually conforming rows. In every pop-; the river row the corners are set alternating the direction of the vertices up and down the flow of the stream. The tops of the corners and the edges of the shelves on the side, the entrance and the exit of each transverse row are located in the same plane. Each longitudinal row includes coaxially arranged corners, while the edges of the shelves of adjacent longitudinal rows are in the same plane, and the distance between the transverse rows is equal to the width of the channel formed by the shelves of adjacent corners. 2 Il.

FIG. 1 shows a separator, a horizontal section; 2 - the arrangement of two adjacent transverse rows of separation elements.
The separator includes a housing 1, separation elements installed therein, made in the form of equal leg angles 2 of a single mix with an opening angle of 90 °. Corners 2 are interconnected transverse and longitudinal rows, each transverse-1 row contains corners directed by vertices 3 against and along the flow (alternately). Vertices 3 of corners 2 and edges of 4 shelves from the entrance and exit of each p yes located in the same plane.
2.Each longitudinal row includes coaxially arranged corners 2, while the edges of the 4 shelves of the corners of the neighboring longitudinal rows lie in the same plane, and the distance between the transverse rows is equal to the width of the channel 5. formed by the neighboring corners themselves 2.
The separator operates as follows.
At the entrance to the device, a part of the contaminated flow enters the internal cavities of the corners 2 of the first row where, on the inner surface of the shelves, a large fraction of the contaminants separates under the action of inertial forces. Another part of the stream, entraining the stream, partially purified from the KpvnHOu faction of contaminants, is

It goes to the outer, surface of the angles 2, facing vertices towards the flow, and, smoothly changing the direction of movement, through the channels 5 enters the inner surface of the angles 2 in the next row. Under the action of inertial forces, further separation of contaminants occurs. The gas flow, once again changing the direction of movement, flows into the internal cavities of the corners 2 of the previous row, and then again, the direction of movement moves along the channels 5. With such a change in the direction of movement of the flow through an angle of 180 °, separation occurs particles of contaminants under the action of centrifugal forces to inertial forces exclude secondary contamination of contaminants.
