Abstract
IThe invention relates to pumping engineering, in particular, to means of damping pulsations of the delivery of volumetric pumps. The aim of the invention is to enhance the functionality by providing a visual definition of the portion of the pumped medium. When the pump performs the suction stroke in the cavity 4, a vacuum is created and the pumped medium through the inlet tube 5 begins to flow into the cavity 4, the fountain through the holes 7. At the same time, you can visually observe that if the pump works with a 100% volumetric flow, then the portion pumped environment, having a certain speed pressure, enters the cavity 4 through all the holes 7 at the same time. The appearance of gas in the pumped liquid leads to a drop in the velocity head and the volume of the incoming batch. In this case, the outflow will be observed from a smaller number of holes. 1 il. Description
The invention relates to a pump engineering industry, in particular to means for damping the pulsations of a volumetric pump feed.
The purpose of the invention is the expansion of functionality by providing a visual definition of a portion of the pumped medium.
The drawing shows an air cap, a longitudinal section.
7.The air cap of the suction pipe of the volumetric pump pipeline comprises a housing c. in the form of a sleeve 1 made of a transparent material fixed between two flanges 2 and 3 to form a closed cavity 4, partially filled with pumped medium 15, leading 5 and leading 6 tubes, the first of which is connected from the bottom - flange 2 side, located in the cavity 4 vertically and equipped with a number of openings evenly spaced at different levels of 20. The cap is equipped with a measuring scale 8, the labels of which correspond to the openings 7 of the tube 5 and characterize the magnitude of the pressure head and the volume of the portion of the portion of the pumped medium 25 that enters the cap. The initial level 9 of the fluid in the cavity 4 should be below the level of the lower hole 7.
30The air cap works as follows. thirty
7.When the pump performs the suction stroke in the cavity 4, a vacuum is created and the pumped medium through the inlet pipe 5 begins to flow into the cavity 4, gushing through the openings 7, while 35 it can be visually established that if the pump operates with 100% volumetric flow, then the corresponding a portion of the pumped medium, having a certain velocity head, enters the cavity 4 through all openings 7 at the same time. The appearance of gas in the pumped liquid will lead to a drop in the pressure head and a decrease in the volume of the incoming portion. In this case, the outflow will be observed from a smaller number of holes 7.
