Abstract

Device for heating the air in a room comprises a housing (1) containing a ventilator (17) for drawing in/driving out the air and associated with at least one heat exchanger (14, 16). The ventilator and the heat exchanger form a sound-proof unit. Preferred Features: The ventilator and the heat exchanger are arranged in an inner housing (12) having walls (18, 19) that are covered with a damping mat (20) and/or a sound absorber (21).
