Abstract

A plate sieve comprised of two parallel frame parts (1), supporting the plate axles (3), the number of axles and mutual distance can be varied through their storage boxes (6) being able to be fixed in differed desired positions along the frame parts (1). The plate sieves (2) are removable as well as fixable onto the shoulders of the sieve (3), and their mutual distance can be varied by means of distance rings (4). Through this the sieve's sifting properties can be varied according to need, and it is simple to change defective parts, etc. Through placing a dividing wall between two adjoining plate shoulders one can also take out different fractions from the same sieve at the same time. The plate shoulders (3) are preferably connected to a common main drive shaft (8) of the splice type, which enables connection of the plate axels in arbitrary positions, e.g. by means of angle or cog gears (7).<IMAGE>
