Abstract

A binding agent composition that constitutes the reaction product of a first component, containing a liquid-state epoxy resin and a blocked polyisocyanate prepolymer, with a second component, containing an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polyamine, is used as a sealing coating. A preferred method for producing said sealing coating on a give structure includes spreading a first layer of binding agent (which can, but does not have to be, the binding agent composition of this invention) over the structure; applying a groundmass material of non-woven material over the first layer and then spreading a second layer of binding agent composition over the groundmass material and thereby impregnating the groundmass material.
