Abstract

592692 A portable apparatus for reclaiming material is disclosed. The apparatus includes a container, a perforated platform (2) at one end of the container for receiving material and a first conveyor device (12) below the platform (2) conveying solid material towards a trommel (3). The trommel has a perforated cylindrical wall with formations (6) on the interior thereof for feeding relatively coarse material from the first end of the trommel to the second end and formations (7) on the exterior for feeding relatively finer material from the first end to the second end. A second conveyor device (4) raises solid material from the second end of the trommel to a level above the axis of rotation of the trammel (3). The perforated platform (5) is disposed below the axis of the trommel.
