Abstract

The present invention discloses a high fidelity speaker of the kind comprising acoustic resonance housing, at least a musical notes player loudspeaker, and electric arrangements such as frequency splitters, wherein the acoustic resonance housing of said speaker can adopt the form of a string musical instrument. When the vibrations produced by the loudspeaker coincide with the tuning of the strings of the musical instrument, these will vibrate as if someone would play them producing in this way slight sounds of the strings which give the sensation of vivid presence.

Description

IMPROVEMENTS EH HIGH-FIDELITY HORN FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an audio output device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a high fidelity horn.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Nowadays, conventional high fidelity sound reproduction horns comprise a greater number of elements that increase the cost and, sometimes, the reproduction of sounds is not entirely satisfactory. Generally, conventional speakers are composed of an acoustic resonance housing, at least one speaker of musical notes, and electrical arrangements known in the art of sound reproduction as frequency dividers. The vast majority of hi-fi speakers use very thick wooden drawers as the acoustic housing, however, these thick drawers do not work like the fine wood of a musical instrument, acoustically speaking. Efforts have been made in the art to improve the construction and / or arrangement of the elements that constitute high-fidelity speakers, without significant improvements in audio output. Therefore, there is a need to build a speaker that delivers an audio output signal that is really high fidelity, which can be used in any type of home audio equipment.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION Taking into account the shortcomings of the prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a horn of high fidelity construction and simple operation, and yet high efficiency to reproduce sounds without any distortion and with an output quality of high fidelity audio. Another object of the present invention is to provide a high fidelity horn that acts as a complement to the typical horns of any home audio equipment. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a high fidelity horn that is formed by three elements that function more efficiently. The above objects, as well as other objects and advantages of the invention are achieved by providing a high fidelity horn comprising an acoustic resonance housing such as a stringed musical instrument, a loudspeaker arranged in the acoustic resonance housing, and connecting elements for transporting electrical signals from conventional audio equipment towards the speaker. The vibrations produced by the loudspeaker are transmitted to the musical instrument and consequently to the strings thereof, which will produce slight sounds that give the sensation of living presence. __ BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The aspects that are considered characteristic of the present invention will be established with particularity in the appended claims. Figure 3 is a rear elevation view of the hifi horn, showing the outer connection. nF.SCKTPCTON DETAILED BY T.A TNVENCTON Referring to Figure 1, there is shown a modality of the hi-fidelity horn of the present invention. The hi-fi horn of the present invention comprises an acoustic resonance housing 1 which can take the form of a stringed musical instrument such as, for example, a guitar, a violin, etc. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3, the acoustic resonance housing 1 is a guitar with all of its strings tuned. The hi-fi horn also includes a conventional loudspeaker 2 arranged in an opening of the acoustic resonance housing 1, the loudspeaker being received in said opening and extending into the interior of the acoustic resonance housing 1. The conventional loudspeaker 2 is disposed just below the strings of the guitar (shown in Figure 1). The hifi horn comprises connecting elements that connect the conventional loudspeaker 2 to the outer connector 3 by means of the cables 4, as shown in Figure 2. The connector 3 will receive the cables coming from a conventional audio equipment, which transport the audio signals. Figure 3 is a rear view of a modality of acoustic resonance housing of the hi-fidelity horn of the present invention. It is observed in said Figure 3 that the outer connector 3 is located in the rear part of said acoustic resonance housing 1 in the form of a stringed musical instrument.
In operation, the hifi speaker receives an electrical signal from the audio equipment through the external connector 3. The electrical signal is transported by means of the cables 4 to the speaker 2 mounted on the stringed musical instrument (resonance housing) acoustic 1). The vibrations produced by the speaker 2 are transmitted to the musical instrument 1 and consequently to the strings thereof. Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been illustrated and described, it will be obvious to those skilled in the art that various other changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
