Abstract

This invention refers to a modular exhibitor and products container set which keeps the products in order and always at the front of the exhibitor, in spite of their gradual removal from the exhibitor. The modular exhibitor and products container set, described herein facilitates the products placement procedure to the delivery personnel at the selling point and the removal of the same by the consumers.

Description

MODULAR EXHIBITOR ASSEMBLY AND CONTAINER FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION One of the most important aspects within the industry of the manufacture and distribution of consumer products packaged in envelopes, such as condiments, sweets, powdered concentrates or liquid to prepare drinks or food, and similar products, is the way in which said products are displayed to the consumer at the points of sale. It is desirable that the display of consumer products be made in such a way that these products are always available to the consumer and remain sorted and classified within the display, in addition, the exhibitor must facilitate the work of substitution and replenishment of such products by of the delivery staff. Market studies have shown that the sales of a product increase significantly when said product is permanently "faced", that is, always have products placed in front of the merchandiser, in such a way that they attract the attention of the consumer and can be easily removed from the merchandiser. On the other hand, the consistency, weight and geometry of the products packaged in envelopes, for example concentrates for making beverages, make it particularly difficult for the exhibited products to remain in order and to slide towards the front of an exhibitor.
Various types of displays for consumer products are known, which generally consist of a series of shelves and shelves with divisions therein to accommodate in rows the different products that are to be exhibited for sale. However, these exhibitors do not keep the product at the same time as it is difficult for the delivery workers to supply it. Another type of known exhibitor is the one described in the Mexican patent application No. 9603837, which has the advantages of maintaining the products in an orderly and permanent manner in front of the merchandiser, facilitating also the work placement of these by the distributors. However, in spite of its advantages, said display consists of a relatively complicated structure by which all the display shelves are displaced upwards and downwards as a whole. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a modular display and product container assembly that keeps said products organized and kept permanently in front of the merchandiser, although they are gradually removed from the merchandiser. It is another object of the invention to provide a modular display assembly and product container that facilitates the product placement procedure by the delivery personnel at the point of sale. It is still another object of the present invention to provide a modular display assembly and container of simple structure and construction, which results in a low cost, and which facilitates the placement, display and removal of products packaged in envelopes or the like.
These and other objects of the invention will be apparent from the description of the preferred embodiment detailed below.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a modular display assembly and consumer product container comprising a modular display having a support frame having an upper section, two side sections and a base section; the support frame which is configured in such a way that it can contain a plurality of display modules within which a plurality of product containers can be placed. Each of the display modules having the form of a box divided longitudinally into three sections, and further comprising a front cover covering an upper portion of said sections, wherein the front cover can be moved from a closed position, suitable for the display of the products, to an open position, suitable for placing the products to be exhibited in the display, and wherein each of said sections comprises a pair of front supports, a horizontal rear support surface, a surface Sliding, which can be moved up and down manually and a front containment section. On the other hand, a container of products comprising an elongated box having a geometry and dimensions suitable for containing a plurality of products inside, a cover, which can be opened throughout the length of the container, a cut that allows to release said cover; and an eyebrow at the front end of the cover. Whereby a plurality of product containers is placed in the merchandiser by lifting the front cover to its open position and introducing said container in each of the sections of the display module with the cover down, until the rear end of the container rests on the horizontal section of the display module and placing the front end of the container on a pair of front supports, manually raising a slidable section until contacting the container at the same time as manually releasing the container cover and sliding down the section Sliding manually pressed the eyebrow of the cover against the sliding section, whereby the products contained inside the container slide downwards and towards the front, bumping against the front containment section and remaining in a position to be displayed.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 is a perspective view of the modular product display of the present invention; Figure 2 is a perspective view of one of the modules of the product display of Figure 1; Figure 3 is a perspective view of the module of Figure 2 showing the front cover in the open position; Figure 4 is a perspective view of the module of Figure 2 showing the products in their display position and the open front cover; Figure 5 is a perspective view of the module of Figure 2 with the products in their display position and the front cover closed; Figure 6 is a perspective view of the product container showing the closed top cover; and Figure 7 is a perspective view of the container of products of Figure 6 showing the top cover open.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED MODALITY OF THE INVENTION Referring to Figure 1, the modular display 10 of the present invention is illustrated in perspective, which consists of a support frame comprising an upper section 12, two lateral sections (showing only the left side section 16, the right side section being a mirror image thereof) and a base section 14. The support frame is configured in such a way that it may contain a plurality of display modules 18 to 27, which are they will describe later referring to Figs. 2 to 5, and within which a plurality of product containers 60 may conveniently be placed, which will also be described in greater detail with reference to Figs. 6 and 7. Fig. 2 a 5 show in detail one of the display modules, ie the module 18, it being understood that the rest of the display modules 19 to 27 they comprise the same parts and work in the same way. The display module 18 is in the form of a box divided longitudinally into three sections 31, 33 and 35, as illustrated in Figure 2, and further comprises a front cover 28, which covers an upper portion of the sections 31, 33 and 35. The front cover 28 can be moved from a closed position shown in Figure 2, suitable for displaying the products, to an open position shown in Figure 3, suitable for placing the products to be exhibited in the display. Additionally, each of the sections 31, 33 and 35 comprise a pair of front supports 42 and 44, a horizontal rear support surface 38, a slidable surface 40, which can be moved up and down manually and a front section containment 32, 34 and 36. As shown in Figures 6 and 7 the product container 60 of the invention consists of an elongated box having a geometry and dimensions suitable for containing a plurality of products 64 therein. The product container 60 comprises an upper cover 62 which can be opened by pressing on a cutting section 66 so as to release said top cover 62 to open along the entire upper part of the product container 60. The top cover 62 further comprises an eyebrow 68 at its front end. Having described the elements comprising the modular display, on the one hand, and the container of products, on the other, the manner in which the placement of the plurality of containers in the display for the display of the products in the container will be described will now be described. they contained. As illustrated in Figure 3, in order to place the product containers 60 in the merchandiser, the front cover 28 is raised to its open position and a product container is inserted into each of the sections 31, 33 and 35 of the display module 18. Each of the product containers 60 is inserted into the corresponding section of the display module with cover 62 facing down, until the rear end of the container 60 rests on the horizontal section 38 of the display module 18. Next, the front end of the container 60 is placed on the corresponding supports 42, 44 so that the container 60 is firmly placed in shape horizontal within the corresponding section. Finally, the corresponding slidable section (40) is manually lifted up to make contact with the container 60 at the same time that the lid 62 of the container 60 is manually released. In this way, by sliding down the corresponding slidable section manually depressed the eyebrow 68 of the cover 62 against the slidable section 40, the products 64 contained within the container 60 slide down and towards the front abutting against the corresponding front fastening section (32, 34, 36), as shown in Figure 4 Once the above is done for each of the sections of the display module 18, the upper cover 28 is closed so that finally the modular display set and product container are ready to display the products in an orderly fashion and always towards the front. of the same. The front cover 28 further comprises sections that allow placing information or advertising of the products that are being displayed in each of the sections 31, 33 and 35 of the display module 18.
