Abstract

Se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para monitorear y caracterizar fluidos en una formación subterránea. En una modalidad, se proporciona un método para monitorear fluidos en un pozo que penetra una formación subterránea, el método comprende: determinar una carga en el gancho flotante real de un aparato al menos parcialmente dispuesto en el pozo donde un primer grupo de fluidos se encuentra presente en este; comparar la carga en el gancho flotante real con una carga en el gancho flotante calculada del aparato, donde la carga en el gancho flotante calculada se basa en parte en la carga en el gancho no flotante del aparato y las propiedades de un segundo grupo de fluidos que se asume están presentes en el pozo; y determinar al menos una propiedad del primer grupo de fluidos basados en parte en la comparación de la carga en el gancho flotante real con la carga en el gancho flotante calculada.
