Abstract

The present invention pertains to fish breeding field, in particular to cyclic breeding of African sheat-fishes and their hybrids in equipment of closed water supply system. With aim to diminish the overall dimensions and to simplify the design along with concurrent diminishing of construction costs and consumption of water and energy, the equipment contains pools (1) for fish farming, floor-type settler (5) provided with filter medium in the form of honeycombed plastic, ultraviolet radiating element (6), biofilter (7), accumulating pool (4) including a system of water heating, circulation system of pipelines (2) with pump units. Interconnection between devices of equipment is made so as to obtain two independent circuits of water circulation: one -from pools for breeding of fishes, to accumulating pool; other from biofilter to accumulating pool, whereby the sprayed biofilter furnishing total cycle of biological purification and also satiation of water with oxygen including its decontamination, and pools with fishes are linked parallel to accumulating pool. Ultraviolet radiating element is placed in system between the floor-type settler and biofilter to ensure the possibility of increasing of efficiency combating pathogenic organisms whilst diminishing power of radiating element and increasing efficiency of biofilter operation. Water circulation circuit between elements is selected and calculated so as water exchange between pools with fishes and accumulating pool is minimum, but water exchange between accumulating pool and biofilter without using oxygen-saturation system would increase as much as the hydraulic duty on biofilter cross section area would be in the predetermined limits ensuring the possibility of high purification of water and possibility of using of small size floor-type settler. Fish breeding process of four months is carried out in eight pools separated in four pairs. Breeding period is going for four months, i.e., it allows stocking of pools with young fishes and getting of the finished production in each month. The sheat-fishes are bred from 5 to 10 grams till increase of their weight up to 1100-1200 grams.
