The present invention relates to a horizontal contour correction amount automatic adjustment circuit for automatically adjusting the speed modulation correction amount in accordance with the contents of the screen in the TV and monitor for correcting the horizontal contour by using the speed modulation.
Conventionally, the second derivative and second derivative of the input luminance signal are amplified and applied to the speed modulation coil installed in the neck of the CRT to correct the horizontal contour in proportion to the high frequency components included in the input screen content. However, the above-described technique increases the horizontal contour correction amount when there are a lot of high frequency components, and the horizontal contour correction amount decreases when the high frequency component is small, so that a sharp screen is emphasized by emphasizing the horizontal contour on a screen having low frequency components (low contrast screen). I couldn't enjoy it.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above, the present invention is a contour correction circuit for correcting a horizontal contour in proportion to a high frequency component, in which a sharpness of the screen is increased by emphasizing a horizontal contour on a screen with few high frequency components. After detecting and converting the signal into a DC value, the gain of the differentiator which second-orders the luminance signal to the second value is adjusted by using the DC value, thereby making it possible to correct the horizontal outline on the low contrast screen.
Referring to the configuration and the effect of the present invention as described in detail as follows.
1 is a block diagram of the present invention, the luminance signal separated from the comb filter 5 is buffered and amplified in the buffer 10, differentiated in the second derivative 15, and then passed through the bias unit 25 and the amplifier 25. In the speed modulating circuit configured to be amplified by and applied to the speed modulation coil (V / M), the high pass filter 30 for passing only the high frequency components of the luminance signal of the comb filter (5), and the high pass filter (30) A DC converter 40 for converting the high frequency signal detected by the buffer and amplified by the buffer 35 into a DC voltage, an inverting amplifier 45 for inverting and amplifying the DC voltage converted by the DC converter 40, The drive is selected by the output of the inverting amplifier 45 and comprises a gain adjusting unit 50 for adjusting the gain of the secondary derivative 15.
2 is an implementation circuit diagram of the present invention. In the conventional speed modulation circuit, after the luminance signal of the comb filter 5 is buffered and amplified in the buffer 10 composed of the transistor Q5, the transistor Q4 and the capacitor C5-C7 After the second derivative in the secondary differential section 15 is configured to be applied to the speed modulation coil (V / M) through the bias unit 20 and the amplifier 25 composed of a transistor (Q6).
According to the present invention, the high pass filter 30 for detecting the high frequency component of the luminance signal in the above-described speed modulation circuit is composed of a capacitor C1 and a resistor R1, and the buffer 35 includes a transistor Q1 and a resistor R2-. R4) and the high-frequency signal passing through the buffer 35 is configured to be DC-converted by the DC converter 40 composed of resistors R5, R6, and capacitors C3, C4. The output of the 40 is configured to be applied to the gain adjusting unit 50 through the inverting amplifier 45 composed of the transistor Q2.
The gain adjusting unit 50 may include a transistor Q3 driven by the output of the inverting amplifier 45 and a resistor R11 for adjusting the gain of the secondary derivative 15 according to the driving of the transistor Q3. It consists of (R12).
In the present invention configured as described above, the luminance signal separated from the comb filter 5 is buffered and amplified in the buffer 10, and then second derivative is performed in the second derivative 15, and the bias unit 20 and the amplifier 25 are separated. When applied to the speed modulation coil (V / M) through the horizontal contour is corrected in proportion to the high frequency components included in the screen content.
Therefore, when the content of the high frequency content is low, the horizontal contour correction is less and the clear screen cannot be enjoyed.
In view of the above, the present invention emphasizes the horizontal contour on the screen of the content having the high frequency content, so that the user can enjoy a clear screen. Therefore, the horizontal contour is emphasized more even on the low contrast screen, which has not been greatly emphasized in the past.
That is, the luminance signal buffered and amplified by the buffer 10 is applied to the high pass filter 30 including the resistor R1 and the condenser C1 to detect high frequency components of the screen, and the high frequency detected by the low pass filter 30. Is buffered and amplified by the transistor Q1 connected to the bias resistors R2-R4 through the DC coupling capacitor C2 and applied to the DC converter 40.
In the DC converter 40, the high frequency applied through the buffer 35 is converted to primary DC by the resistor R5 and the capacitor C3, and second DC is converted by the resistor R6 and the capacitor C4 to stabilize the DC. The DC output of the DC converter 40 is applied to the transistor Q2 of the inverting amplifier 45, inverted and amplified, and then applied to the base of the transistor Q3.
Therefore, as the high frequency component passed through the high pass filter 30 increases, the DC voltage converted by the DC converter 40 becomes higher and the DC voltage converted by the DC converter 40 causes the transistor Q2 to 'turn on'. In this case (when there are many high frequency components), the transistor Q3 of the gain control unit 50 is 'turned off' so that only the resistor R12 is connected to the emitter of the transistor Q4 of the secondary derivative 15. The horizontal contour correction amount is reduced.
However, when the DC voltage converted by the DC converter 40 does not 'turn on' the transistor Q2 of the inverting amplifier 45 because the high frequency component is small, the whole thinner Vcc applied to the collector of the transistor Q2 is a transistor. Since it is applied to the base of Q3 to 'turn on' the transistor Q3, the collector of the transistor Q3 is in a grounded state, so that the resistor R11 is applied to the emitter of the transistor Q4 of the secondary derivative 15. (R12) is connected in parallel.
Therefore, when the resistor R12 is connected to the transistor Q4 (when there are many high frequency components), when the resistor R11 (R12) is connected to the transistor Q4 (when the high frequency component is small), the horizontal contour correction amount is decreased. As the size increases, the horizontal outline is emphasized even in the low contrast screen, so that a clear screen can be enjoyed.
That is, in the related art, as shown in FIG. 3A, since the correction amount b for the input signal a is proportional to the high frequency component, the speed modulation characteristic according to the screen high frequency amount is proportional to (c).
However, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 3b, even when the amount of correction (e) for the input signal (d) is proportional to the high frequency component but the high frequency component is small, the horizontal contour correction amount is largely adjusted to adjust the speed according to the screen high frequency amount. The property changes as (f).
As described above, the present invention can provide a clear screen in a low contrast screen by emphasizing the horizontal outline more than in the case of a screen having a high frequency content.
